FAQs
Answers to the questions SIPs have asked most often.

These are the questions SIPs have asked most often. We clearly mark anything that is planned for Phase 2.
Can more than one person collect data for the same worksite?
Yes. QuickTrack can have multiple data collectors for the same worksite and even for the same indicator.
Can one collector work across several worksites?
Yes. One person can be assigned to several worksites or localities. This works well where a supervisor visits a number of rural sites and captures data for them.
Can we say what evidence is required?
Yes, for the evidence type. You can require a photo, GPS, document or other evidence for an indicator.
You can also specify more detailed instructions such as “the photo must show the harvested kale”.
Does QuickTrack work offline?
Yes. Collectors can keep working in low-connectivity areas and sync when a connection is available.
Does QuickTrack support more than one language?
Planned for Phase 2.
Can collectors add voice recordings?
Planned for Phase 2.
Can QuickTrack compare outputs with attendance?
Planned for Phase 2.
Can we track our own non-contracted indicators?
Yes. You can add operational, admin, financial or other indicators alongside the official SEF indicators.
This is useful for your own management and for checking whether contracted results make sense.
Can we export all our data?
Yes. You can filter and export the detailed submission data, not only the aggregated totals.
Can we import a CSV from our own system?
Yes. You can upload your own CSV export and save the mapping for future uploads.
Is QuickTrack another app?
QuickTrack is a module inside the wider Quicksticks platform. It is a lightweight, web-based tool.
It adds a more detailed collection, evidence and review workflow around the required SEF reporting process.
What kind of phone or connection do we need?
QuickTrack is designed for the same type of field devices already being used for KwantuGo biometric attendance.
The main performance issue is usually not the app itself, but large photos or documents. Offline capture helps where connectivity is poor.
How will anomaly or outlier checks work?
Planned for Phase 2. QuickTrack will be able to flag unusual values using comparison rules and other checks.
The exact rules, minimum data needed and how warnings will appear on screen are still being designed.
Can reviewers batch-review submissions?
Planned for Phase 2. The plan is to let reviewers filter groups of submissions by fields such as geography, theme, indicator, Partner and status.
Can data collectors get help if they are stuck?
Yes. Collectors and SIP teams will have access to this Help Centre, the support chatbot and human support when needed.
Support can be grouped by QuickTrack, SEF Round 5 and SIP. We are also testing the best way to give SIP administrators a controlled view of issues raised by their own teams.
Does QuickTrack replace Kwantu?
No. Kwantu remains part of the required SEF reporting process. QuickTrack adds the more detailed day-to-day collection, evidence, review and management layer.
Do we have to set everything up twice?
No. Your initial Kwantu setup is imported into your existing QuickTrack workspace. You only add the extra information QuickTrack needs, or additional settings, if required/beneficial.
Does every QuickTrack submission go straight to Kwantu?
No. Data is reviewed and approved first. An authorised SIP M&E user completes the final check before the reporting period is synced to Kwantu.
Do you have a QuickTrack and Kwantu comparison?
Yes. See the article QuickTrack or direct Kwantu? for a short, factual comparison of the two approaches.
